Staff will also follow up with those who volunteered for the work group. Boulder County staff met with Allenspark Area Representatives on August 28, to review outcomes from past efforts, provide updates, and discuss the scope, process, and possible timing for planning efforts going forward.

August 28, Meeting Summary — Allenspark Townsite Planning Initiative Staff met again with Community Project representatives on January 26, to review the scope for the planning process going forward and to continue the conversation about next steps for the planning process.

This was an introduction of the Allenspark Regional Comprehensive Plan Summary only — Planning Commission did not take any action on this docket at this time. The meeting participants agreed to begin with a focus on the platted Allenspark Townsite and then address issues in other townsites and broader issues as appropriate.
Past Meeting Information Boulder County — Allenspark Townsite Planning Initiative Community Meeting — July 23, Boulder County held a meeting at the Allenspark Fire Hall on July 23, to engage the community in discussing potential ways to address unique land use issues affecting the Allenspark Townsite such as setbacks, addressing non-conforming properties, business zoning, historic preservation and other issues.
Thank you to those who participated in the meeting. The goal was for staff to work closely with the Community Project and any other members of the Allenspark community to explore ways to address the concerns raised by the Commissioners, discuss parts of the proposals that staff feels need further work as well as meet the intent of the proposals.
The county seeks to address land use issues mainly within the mapped Allenspark, Raymond, and Riverside townsites and immediately surrounding parcels, beginning with the Allenspark townsite.
The current focus is on the Allenspark Townsite. Inthe Allenspark regional planning process has entered a phase where the County Land Use Department would oversee review of the five proposals Comprehensive Plan, Interface Committee, Built Environment, Building Materials and Business Zoning developed through the Community Project planning process.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program Wayne County's Department of Public Services hosts four Household Hazardous Waste Collections per year for County residents.
The collections are designed to accept unwanted household chemicals for proper disposal and electronics for recycling from residents. A packet of information which is required to be submitted if a business handles hazardous materials above minimum threshold quantities as defined by Riverside County Ordinance or California Health and Safety Code.
